Grammar, Writing and Quotations  -- For a comprehensive list of synonyms and antonyms, this site is perfect. The thesaurus listed is the Roget New MillenniumTM Edition. -- A multi-source dictionary source service, this site is comprehensive and easy to use. The dictionaries appearing on the site include Houghton Mifflin’s American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language and Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary. -- A wealth of quotes on a wide range of topics. -- An easy-to-use quotation site that allows searches by author or topic. -- A quotation site that’s easy to navigate and deep in resources. -- Richard Lederer’s “Verbivore,” a site for people who “feast on the English language.” -- A site dedicated to de-mystifying buzzwords. -- "The guide to Grammar & writing" first compiled by the late Dr. Charles Darling, it offers well organized sections on the fine ponts of grammar.


In Chicago: -- Home of Chicago’s renowned Lyric Opera, one of the top opera companies in the country. You may aso visit, the official site of Lyric's principal French horn player—a site I directed and wrote. -- Chicago Opera Theater is Chicago’s younger, smaller opera company. -- Home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, considered one of the top five orchestras in the nation. -- Chicago’s homegrown, internationally renowned, multi-talented Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. -- A Chicago original, Steppenwolf is where great actors like Gary Sinise, John Mahoney and John Malkovich honed their skills – and still come back to perform. -- The Goodman is Chicago’s other nationally known theater company.
