Visibility building starts with differentiating yourself from the rest of the pack. To clearly convey what makes you unique, and persuade prospects and clients to do business with you, you need to assert where you stand, where you are going, and what’s in it for your target audiences.

To help you create a strong positioning for your organization, Kedrika Communications will lead you and your executives through a brainstorming session aimed at coming to terms with fundamental questions facing your business.


Brainstorming Session
Typically a two- to three-hour exercise, this strategic brainstorming session will help you:

  • Identify the critical business issues you are faced with
  • Formulate your key value proposition in clear, crisp terms
  • Recognize obstacles to your value proposition
  • List your weaknesses as well as your strengths
  • Articulate points of differentiation from your competition
  • Develop your key messages

This format allows you and your senior management to have a candid discussion about your business and the challenges it faces. Potential differences of opinion or strategic direction that may arise from the discussion need to be resolved before a positioning statement can be written and a strategy developed.

Positioning Statement
Following the brainstorming session, Kedrika Communications will create one or more positioning statements (one for each target audience is the norm) to be used as the root of all
communications efforts.


What is the purpose of a Positioning Statement?
As opposed to vision or mission statements, which state what an organization wishes to be rather than what it is and what it specifically does for the audience, a positioning statement reflects what you are, what you do and who you do it for. A positioning statement helps you create an understandable identity and affirm your value proposition.
